Utopia Talk / Politics / Trump threatens Amazon
murder
Member | Tue Apr 29 09:46:11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2v7L9ZyNwA Donald Trump has been lying to his army of rubes that other countries are paying the tariffs that he's been imposing, and now he's shitting bricks because Amazon said they were going to begin displaying what portion of the cost every item was due to Trump's tariffs. Trump's team is calling it a "hostile and political act". Truth and transparency is hostile and political. Calling Trump out on his bullshit is hostile and political. I'm not sure why since we all know that the tariff related costs of every item is 0%. We know that because Trump would never lie to his army of morons. - |

Tariff disclosures would therefore be a helpful piece of information. On the other hand, why call out tariffs specifically, as opposed to any other component cost? Why should Americans be told the cost of tariffs and not the cost of, say, taxes that Vietnam charges on the manfacture pf products, or that China charges on raw materials? From that perspective, yes the disclosures are political in nature. |
